Gangsa: 
From Gaya + Bangsa, Gangsa is a dynamic brand founded and run by young Singaporean-Malay Gen Zs, dedicated to offering traditional Malay clothing that celebrates and revives the ‘busana’ of the Muslim-Malay community across borders.

Our mission is to normalise and popularise Malay traditional clothing and promote it in the 21st century, fostering a renewed appreciation for our cultural identity.


Mukadimah, meaning ‘introduction’ or ‘preface’, marks the debut collection of Gangsa, launched in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2025/1446 AH.

The name symbolizes the beginning of Gangsa’s journey in the fashion world, and InshaAllah, it will pave the way for many more collections to come.
